What are you most passionate about personally?
I do like things to be perfect. And I think this is why I like accounts, everything has to balance and I like balance. I feel that, I’m in control of it.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I’m quite intuitive with people, I can read people quite well where sometimes they don’t have to say anything and I know the way that they’re feeling. So this does work well when you’re working within a team, I think I’m good at understanding how people like to work.
What are you surprisingly good at?
I think it’s that first impressions element when sometimes, you have to put a smile on your face and being able to laugh, no matter what’s happening in in your personal or work life,
Because I do like to be in control of things that’s why Jo calls me Miss Moneypenny, I like to be in control and be happy with what I’ve done.
What’s the most inspiring parts of your job?
Working with a great team and a great mix of people that brings so many different things to the table, you’re learning all the time. Working with people such as Jo is very inspiring, and you know, I think everybody bounces off each other.
What would you do in a job, even if you didn’t get paid for it?
A personal shopper or some sort of home designer.
What’s the biggest proof that you are good at what you do?
Probably the fact that I have been here for such a long time, progressed and survived all the changes that have happened over the years within business. Managing the cash flow, forecasting and budgeting to help the company continue to succeed.
How long have you been working in your field, but not here, but in the field of what you do?
20 plus years. Originally, I started here as a sales coordinator and then I moved on to accounts, which fitted with me better and progressed from there.
What challenges or problems do you constantly solve for our customers?
I don’t generally have the one to one with the customers. My role here is to help and advise the rest of the team and whatever challenges they’re faced with, they know they can always come to me.
What are you complimented on most in your work?
Maintaining financial stability and I’d like to think that the rest of the team members, appreciate my support as well.
If you could write your own job title that best describes what you do here, what would it be?
I think my job title basically says it all. General Manager, it’s, it’s to be there for everybody and anybody at any point in time, it’s support.
